Nick Gozik has worked in the field of International Education for ten years. In addition to his position as Assistant Director of Global Education at Duke, Gozik has worked in study abroad offices at New York University and the University of Richmond, and taught English in France and South Korea. He has also conducted research on the internationalization of higher education for the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) and served as a visiting professor at NYU. Gozik holds a B.A. in History, an M.A. in French, and a Ph.D. in International Education. His research, conducted in the French overseas department of Martinique, explores the relationship between schooling, identity, and race in France. He joined the Global Education Office for Undergraduates in 2008.

Primary Responsibilities: Advising for the UK, Ireland and France;  Duke PPS in Glasgow (semester), Oxford Direct (academic year), Duke in France/EDUCO (semester), Duke in Istanbul (semester), Duke in Paris (summer), Duke in Oxford (summer), Duke in London-Drama (summer), Duke in Flanders (summer), Duke in Greece (summer), Duke in Russia (summer), Duke in Turkey (summer) and Duke in Geneva (summer).
