Development, Environment, and Global Health in India and China

In spring 2011, Duke students will be able to study development, environment, and global health in India and China as part of Duke's inaugural Global Semester Abroad.

Duke faculty from the Sanford School of Public Policy Studies, the Department of Cultural Anthropology, and the Institute for Global Health will join forces to offer students an exciting, indepth exploration of development, environment, and global health issues in rural and urban settings in Udaipur, India and Beijing, China. Students will mix classroom learning with hands-on, community-based research and exploration.
