Duke University Global Education Office for Undergraduates

Finances

Program costs vary greatly. Participants on Duke-administered programs pay Duke tuition and fees; students on Duke-approved programs pay tuition and fees of the host institution plus Duke's $2,565 study abroad fee per semester (2009-10). In many cases tuition and fees for study abroad are somewhat less than studying on Duke's campus.

Contact Duke's Global Education Office for the latest prices or visit each Duke program's website. Do not let costs deter you. Financial Aid at Duke and at many other universities is applicable to study abroad. Federal financial aid is fully portable. For more information on Financial Aid, go to Duke's Office of Financial Aid.
