| Study Abroad Resources: Before you go BEFORE YOU GOPLANNING ASSISTANCE. The Office of Study Abroad has several publications available to help students in the planning stages for study abroad.
ICS 195:At Home Abroad? is a course offered by International Comparative Studies program to students planning to leave for a study experience abroad. The course is generally taught in spring. HANDBOOKS. Before you go, orient yourself with the Duke Abroad Handbook. Also, Country specific handbooks created by the SAFETI Clearinghouse and sponsored by FIPSE, U.S. Dept. of Education, and other sponsors. CONTACT LISTS OF CURRENT AND FORMER DUKE STUDY ABROAD STUDENTS. Email addresses of study abroad students listed by country, major, and program. List are not comprehensive, but instead contain only the names of those students who have released their information to the Duke community. Files are only visible to Duke networked computers. If you are non-Duke students wishing to contact former participants, please request names and emails for specific programs at abroad@aas.duke.edu.
